Etching with the Cricut

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share these bulbs I made with the Forever Young Cricut Cartridge.  I used my gypsy to utilize the 6 x 6 piece of shelf paper liner. You can also use vinyl. I was able to make 4 with the 6 x 6 piece I had. This is one of my favorite cartridges, love love love it.  I found these bulbs on sale after last Christmas with the plans in mind for this year. I think they will look darling on the tree. I will be giving these to the ladies that I meet with once a month on Thursday night. I have some other things I have been working on also.  I explain how I made them in the video.

I etched these 2 different ways one with negative and other with the image.

Thanks for watching.

Challenge Me Monday #87

#87 – Thank You

Hello everyone,
I hope you had a wonderful Black Friday. I know I did. I have so much to be thankful for. Top of the list  would be my family. That is why I chose to make a thankful card for a military serviceman. This card along with a care package will be going out this week.

I used the Stand and Salute

I used the second key (the flag) and took off the yellow chain so I could make the card 4 1/4 X 5 1/2. I cut out the eagle at 3" and I embossed the blue area for stars with swiss dots and rubbed white craft ink over it. The thanks is from wild card. I then attached the flag to a white base card.

Here is a look at the inside of the card. I cut the serviceman out at 3".

Thanks for taking a look.

Peachy Keen Stamps :: Sketch Challenge 65 w/ a Twist: Paper Piecing

Here is my entry for the challenge!
First of all this is a 4 1/4" square card. I printed the paper with my imagine. I used the Black and White colors and patterns by Teresa Collins. The penguin stamp is a peachy keen stamp along with sentiment.
I paper pieced his scarf with a solid red then I used my clear star dust on every other strip. The circle, scallop and tag are all nestibilities.  I used copics on the penguin and I added some dazzling diamonds for the snow. I added stitching around the tag, ribbon and some red pearls.

Here is a look at the inside.

Thanks for taking a look.

Dog shaped card

I created this shaped card in my gypsy.  I welded the santa hat (from paper doll dress up) to the dog from create a critter then copied it and then welded those 2 pieces together.  I also used the hide contour to hide the eyes so I could use my peachy keen stamps for them. Friends to the end came from small talk My creative time.Hope you like it, and thanks for looking.
